Help Us Adopt

From time to time you will find me writing about charitable organizations and causes that touch me. Today I want to highlight HelpUsAdopt.org, founded in 2007 by Becky and Kipp Fawcett after experiencing their own frustrating and expensive infertility struggles and incredible hurdles encountered throughout the adoption process.

Helpusadopt.org is a national, non-profit 501 (c)3 financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, marital status or sexual preference) with their adoption expenses  by awarding financial grants from $500 - $15,000. Twice a year, her organization reviews applications and awards grants directly to the adoption facilities used by approved prospective parents; costs covered include domestic, international, foster child and special needs adoptions.

I highly recommend attending one of their events and hearing for yourself the amazing stories from families who have adopted thanks to this organization. It will truly touch your heart and you will leave with a big smile on your face . . . .

Event

On Monday October 1, 2012 at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse in Radnor, PA they will be holding their Fall Wine Tasting Event and Silent Auction.
